By exploiting the second gas unit of Sanamgan combined cycle power station and the steam unit of Shobad (Kahnouj) combined cycle power station in Kerman province 326 megawatt capacity synchronized to Iran’s national electricity network

According to TPPH’s public relations and international affairs, by exploiting the second unit of Samangan combined cycle power station, by exploiting the second gas unit of Samangan power station the electricity generation capacity of Samangan power sation’s capacity reached up to 332 megawatts and Shobad (Kahnouj) combined cycle power station’s capacity reached up to 484 megawatts.

Kahnouj combined cycle power station is constructed by private investment in two gas and one steam unit and is situated in 15th kilometre of Kahnouj-Jiroft Road and Samangan combined cycle power sation is situatited in 10th kilometre of Sirjan-Kerman Road in Kerman province.

By exploiting of these power plant units, the private sector’s share in electricity generation in the whole country reached up to 11785 megawatts from power station units in the new Persian fiscal year reached 1314 megawatts in 77 power plant units and the amount of thermal power generation by Thermal Power Plant Holding will reach up to 37834 megawatts on 253 power plant units.

By exploiting the second gas unit of Samangan combined cycle power station with 166 megawatts, the total capacity of the power station’s gas unit will reach up to 322 megawatts which will be synchronized to Iran’s national electricity network.

It is estimated that the steal unit of Samangan combined cycle power station wth 160 megawatts capacity will be exploited in next summer.

Samangan combined cycle power station is under construction by the investment of Qods niru, Kerman Tableau and Kani Mess Companies and Shobad (Kahnouj) combined cycle power station is under construction by the investment of Arianmah Tabgostar company both in Kerman province. MAPNA Company is the contractor for both combined cycle power stations.
