KEPCO’s President: “Trade with Iran Has High Priority for Us.”

Cho, Hwan-Eik, President of KEPCO announced in an exclusive interview with Thermal Power Plant Holding that the construction of Zanjan 4 and Qom’s Neizar combined cycle power stations are the first cooperation between KEPCO and Iranian companies and thus, possesses a high priority for his company.
​​He also mentioned two agreements with TPPT to construct these power plants and said that these power stations have 500 megawatt capacity in total and will work for 30 years.

KEPKO uses the latest technology to reach the highest outcome in electricity generation and least fuel usage which means 58% outcome.

Mr. Cho added: "We hope to enhance KEPCO's presence in Iran's power industry. We have agreements with MAPNA and Tavanir Co. in electricity distribution field and improving old power stations in term of energy waste."

He described KEPCO as best electricity generation in S. Korea. KEPCO produce 85% of S. Korea's energy and is also involved in electricity distribution and selling. KEPCO cooperates in 40 projects international and owns the 4th place in power generation globally.
