Electricity production in the country's thermal power plants grew by 4.6% this year

TPPH Director General of the Planning and Electricity Market Office announced: “electricity production in the country's thermal power plants grew by 4.6% this year in relation to last year

According to TPPH Public Relations Office, Bahman Mehradad, TPPH Director General of the Planning and Electricity Market Office announced that there is 4.6% increase in electricity production in 1397 in relation to the same period in the last year.

He mentioned: “The increase in production is due to the efforts of the power industry managers, employees and the entering of new power plants to the grid.”

General Director of the Planning and Electricity Market Office continued: “the readiness of thermal power plants has reached to highest level during current day and it has passed 99 percent and is stabled on 99/1 %.”

He said: “because of water saving necessity in the country’s dams at the time of decreasing weather temperature and lowering the electricity consumption, the hydro-power power plants have been exited from the electricity generation network and now, thermal power plants are operating with highest capacity.”
