According to TPPH Co. Public Relations Office, Mohsen
Tarztalab, TPPH Co. Managing Director referred to the last position of Iran’s
power plants in an interview with ISNA News Agency and expressed: “there is no
problem for the power plants and it is foreseen that we will pass the summer
with less challenges.”
About the usage of the power plants’ fuel, he said:
“according to the finished programs, it is decided that we use gas in power
plants and there is no problem in this field.”
According to Managing Director of Thermal Power Plant
Holding Company usage of the liquid fuel is not the priority and all their
efforts are to prepare electricity from gas fuel and to do this, several
measures have been taken.
Mohammad Reza Haghifam, the Speaker of Iran Power Industry
has told in previous days to ISNA that recent rainfalls have doubled the capability
of hydroelectric power plants over the past years and it is expected we will
have 5000 Mw more power generation than previous year and there is no doubt the
amount of electricity generation by hydroelectric power plants will increase
during summer in relation to the last year and we will be able to receive 9500
till 10 thousands Mw electricity, if hydroelectric power plants will sync to
network correctly.”
