25 Mw Saravan Mobile Power Plant has been synced to national grid in Sistan and Baluchistan Province

According to TPPH Co. Public Relations Office, 25 Mw Saravan Mobile Power Plant has been synced to national grid in Sistan and Baluchistan Province on 23 June 2019.

Mohsen Nikbakht, TPPH Co. executive of mobile power plant projects said: “this power plant’s fuel is gasoline, regarding the gas shortage in the region and its turbine is MGT-30 type.”

According to him, the power plant had been located in Nowshahr city in Mazandaran Province previously and had been generating electricity for two years and now, considering the Saravan people’s need and sensitivity of the region, the works for transferring this mobile power plant to Sistan and Baluchistan Province has been started in February.”

 

He added: “in the middle of March 2019, disassembling operation has been fully finished and transferring was started to Saravan. In April, the pro-installment operation has been started.”

Nikhbakht mentioned some advantages of the using mobile power plant as high speed of installment, very fast start up, portability and occupying low space.

He clarified: “one 25 Mw power plant is capable of providing electricity for a city including one hundreds thousands of people as stable electricity.”

It is mentionable MAPNA Company is executive contractor of mobile power plant project in the country.
