Iranian Minister of Energy said: Execution Operation of Sirik 1400Mw Power Plant in Hormozgan Province will be started during next two Months by using 1.2 billion euros loan from Russian government

According to Public Relations Office of TPPH Company, Reza Ardakanian, Iranian Minister of Energy at the sideline of meeting with Sergei Anatolievich Storchak, Deputy Finance Minister of Russia Federation, referred to construction project of Sirik 1400Mw Power Plant in Hormozgan Province by using 1.2 billion euros loan from Russian government and said: “The loan required an extension to extend the contract due to the length of its operational procedures, which was signed today between the Russian Ministry of Finance and the Iranian Ministry of Economy and Finance.”

Head of the Iranian-Russian Joint Commission on Economic and Trade Cooperation emphasized: “According to today's agreement, it is expected that in the next two months the equipment of the Sirik power plant will start and the project will be implemented.”

He continued: “Previously, a commercial contract for the development of one of Iran's hydroelectric power plants, along with the rehabilitation of one of our country's thermal power plants, had also been signed with the Russian side which According to today's announcement by Russian Ministry of Finance officials, there is no problem in providing 650-700 million euros in form of loans for these projects.”

Minister of Energy of I.R. of Iran said: “The Garmsar-Inchebron Railway Electrification Project will also be implemented with a loan from the Russian Government which based on today's meeting of Officials from Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Russian Ministry of Finance, we hope this
project will be implemented this year.”
